Here to explain after 10 years how did Jason die: So I have wondered that my self for years how could have Jason died when his father was clearly shown to be the one receiving the most of the impact, well the most simple explanation is his dad killed him by dropping on top of him after getting hit by the car that also explains why Ethan feels so much guilt besides being the one who lost his son, he was also the one who killed him technically. Unfortunately the source on this is actually just trust me bro, of course we dont know if this was what happened but i love this game so much since it was a big part of my childhood that i didnt want it to have such an obvious flaw ahahah
