Why the long video?
Outlast to me was more fun so I decided to focus on that series instead. It's a shame these two games came out at the same time honestly. It didn't seem like this was a series worth keeping, but I wanted to finish it for you bros who were still into it, enjoy!

I feel like this story is one of the best of The Amnesia Series. Say what you want about the horror and gameplay. But what you can't complain about is the story. A story about a man distraught and crushed over a prophecy of the future which at the time might not even be true. Who sacrificed both of his sons who he thought (knew) were going to die anyway in the upcoming wars. A Crazed Man who built a machine for the pigs he spite. Built out of the blood of the poor and the hearts of his fallen children. A Man who came to his senses, and realized what he had done. To fight his past self and undo the error of his ways the best he can. To kill The Machine God he birthed and it's mad rambling in his own voice. Nor Rebirth nor even Dark Descent has made me emphatize more with it's both protagonist and villian. You must hate what he did to his kids and his workers. But you then you also have to come to the realization that he is correct. A History shed in blood has been proven to provide a nation the rich grounds to prosper. But will the blood be worth it if even at all for so many lives lost under the crusade. I love this game, no matter what people tell me. It's not a horror game, it's a linear interactive horror movie. Nothing more nothing less.
