So, I decided to keep this video up despite of drama..
I originally took the video down yesterday after hearing the developer felt discouraged from getting harsh criticism. (Most likely not only from me).
Now, I’m not interested in making people feeling bad, so I took the video down..
But later after hearing he stopped developing games in total and gave up on this project, it kind of made me think I should keep the video back up. Obviously you don’t stop making games because of one person’s video, and me taking it down made it seem like that was the case to some people.
The video speaks for itself, but I do think it’s a shame he stopped making games.
I’ve been faced with very harsh criticism in my days online and I know it can be rough as hell.
But you can also learn from it, and grow from it.
By abandoning this game you’re letting the people who supported and who is supporting you down. Which isn't really fair to them.
There has been plenty of times when I felt like quitting YouTube for example. But it just doesn't make sense to quit, just because some people maybe don’t like it?
Although being public on the internet isn’t something everyone can handle, I get that.
Here’s to hoping the developer has a change of heart.

Honestly the game isnt THAT bad. I my expectations were just A LOT higher. I hope the developer doesnt get discouraged and keep making better games in the future.

Pewdie is unfair. The game is not boring, it has lots of interesting objects, Easter eggs, jokes, secrets, it even has a plot. If it doesn't lie on the surface and the game doesn't say "go there and do that", it doesn't mean that the game is boring. He didn't play it enough to draw conclusions, and he fucked it up so much. This is wrong.

You guys keep saying he can't take "some" criticism, comparing the game to The Last of Us and FNAF in terms of hate received. You all tend to forget that, while both of those games received a fair bit of hate, this game, largely due to this video, has received nothing but hate. TLOU and FNAF are regarded as masterpieces, while this game is sitting at the bottom of the barrel, with most of the positive reviews being jokes. Stop saying he can't take "a little bit of criticism." Did he make a game that's questionable for a 100k budget? Yes. Should he have gotten absolutely shitted on as much as he did? I don't really think so.
I've seen dev's who have thicker skin when it comes to both criticism and hate than whoever made this. Or maybe his 'discouraged' phase was all made up. Truly a hmmm moment.
